B-52

The B-52 is a pousse-café style drink, labeled as such for its layered alcohols using "science" to determine alcohol gravities. If you're not into science you can always trust the research of others and read a recipe.
The term pousse-café roughly translates to "coffee chaser" because they go so well after you've had a cup of coffee. Of course, the most impressive part of the B-52 is the layering of the three alcohols: kahlua, bailey's irish cream and grand marnier.

Practical? Not really. Cool? Definitely.

1/3 shot Kahlua® coffee liqueur
1/3 shot amaretto almond liqueur
1/3 shot Bailey's® Irish cream

It's awesome. Highly recommended.

I did that as said: in order, into a shot glass; kahlua, amaretto, then irish cream
Â
Although there are some comments that irish cream should go second (will try this combination today.)
Â
Anyway, just take it in one shot. Tastes like heaven.

Thanks Derrick ;-)
Proud to be awesome.

Shouldn't you take it all in one shot? Or it tastes like ... then?
Proud to be awesome.
Yes you can
You can take it all in one shot, or sip it. I like the taste of the variety of drinks, it's like drinking a good Black & Tan, you can try to chug it all or simply enjoy all the flavor. Of course, a shot is easier to "shoot" than a beer :-) I suggest trying it both ways and see which you like better.

That's the beauty of the cocktail, the way you drink it is really up to you, but the alcohols will compliment each other well on top of being able to layer.
