Another egg-based cocktail, we're mixing it up with an egg yolk, brandy and coffee liqueur. This time we're adding the simple syrup to sweeten the beverage. You'll get a dark and medium-thick cocktail with its heritage born of coffee and cool.

separating yolks from whites - the method you used is probably the most popular. there is also another one I use sometimes - quicker but more messy ;) get yolk/white from a cracked egg to your hand and allow white to slide through you fingers. you'll have yolk only on your hand very quickly. of course, this should be performed over a sink or some container :) or over a shaker, if you need white for your cocktail (gin fizz or something).
