The Boston Cocktail

Marrying G'vine gin with Apricot Brandy dancing in lemon juice and a dash of grenadine and you've got a nice Boston Cocktail. Semi-sour taste worth the sipping, color worth the cocktail.

We're recording outside of Boston, now it's time for you to have a taste of bean town! Although, we're not sure if a Boston Cocktail is actually from Boston.

Favorite Cocktail

My absolute favorite is probably the negroni, but the manhattan and the sidecar are VERY close behind.

Boston cocktail should be red, not pink

Just my opinion Derrick, but I think the BOSTON cocktail should be RED (more grenadine?).  My favorite cocktail is a Long Island Iced Tea with cola (what else).  Have you ever thought about using pour tops?

Boston Cocktail, Dash of Grenadine?

Yeah, the color is really dependant on the terminology of "dash." Some recipes call for 1 and a half tea spoons, others a "dash" so, I can see the color being varying. I went for the dash with less ambition than some, although finding an official image of the Boston cocktail is very tough since "Boston Cocktail" shaker is a huge term.

I have a few pour tops, but I was iffy on using them mainly because I don't want to lose the main aspect of the show: common man "cocktails." I wanted to try to keep the theme less professional to avoid being labeled as a "bartender" or "mixologist." I want to be "that guy" that's hosting a random party and pulls out the booze to start mixing.

I love tropical drinks, my

I love tropical drinks, my favorite is the bahama mama.

What's your favorite cocktail?

I'm a fan of the classic cocktails, my favorite being a finely crafted Sidecar.

Very good post, thanks a lot.
