Carrot Cake Shooter

You gotta love the novelty shooter that tastes like a food stuff. This time, we're baking a carrot cake in a shot glass. Mixing a bit of coffee liqueur with butterscotch, irish cream and cinnamon schnapps. What does it taste like? What do you think!?

I LOVE carrot cake! I love any cake. Make me broccoli cake or toothpaste cake and i will love it. I am gonna try this one out, if i can find butterscotch scnapps :D Great episode!

I know of a cocktail I invented once that tastes just like toothpaste (if I could remember the ingredients), maybe you should go make yourself a toothpaste cake then :)

I was wondering if you have any setup in your bottles, like the alabama slammer setup or just a regular category setup ? (gins for gins, vodka for vodkas, schnapps for liqours and schnapps...) Or is it just random placed.. :)

I set them up in core families of spirits, the rum and flavored rums, tequilas, vodka's, schnapps, etc. Because each recipe will call for one of them, I want to be able to find them fast since we're typically taping 3-5 shows at a time I like my search to be fast :)

The ones I have in the dinning room are just randomly placed. I have about 20 bottles stuffed in a corner. :)

This was really good - but I feel like having Goldschlager over cinnamon schnapps would definitely make a difference. Ordinary cinnamon schnapps gave a bit more of a Big Red bite, and a little bit less carrot...and didn't mask the coffee of the Kahlua. Overall, however, very good, and once I get some Goldschlager I will definitely try it again!

I was going to try using 100 Proof Firewater but I couldn't find the bottle. No clue where my stuff goes, it's hard to find in all those bottles. It's like playing Where's Waldo but with alcohol.

The Peachschnapps (peachtree, dekuyper) has a new bottle design aswel, kinda like it.
And i'm more into fresh hard carrots, and dislike the cooked ones =(. Think i actually never had carrotcake, but the combination of carrot and cake, and the reason someone thought of putting those together, doesn't really grip me either.

But enough about carrots, we are talking shots! *puts bottle of 155 proof absinthe away*
