Oh yeah, Tequila. We're making a cocktail with añejo tequila this week. This is a very complex little cocktail with creme de cacao, chambord and some heavy cream. While this cocktail is great for tequila fans, the complexity and maturity of the añejo really makes this a fun drink for a wide audience (especially those that like more mature whiskey and scotches).

This is a overflow from our holiday week but it fits any time of the year as it's a great potent little number known as the Axe Murderer. This cocktail has nice sweet flavors reflecting that of a tropical/tiki cocktail (with less rum) with a potent finish that reminds you that this cocktail has a lot of unique alcohols.

As with other intense drinks of this nature, the alcohols all play well together without giving any offending taste profiles. It will creep up on you... like an AXE MURDERER!
