Sweet Amaretto awesomeness, we're building a cocktail with amaretto, vodka (absolute), light rum (Don Q) with some cranberry juice and a touch of sweet/sour mix that's been freshly squeezed. Amaretto lovers may fall for this drink while everyone else will just recognize it as a mildly sweet cocktail of awesome.

For whatever reason, I found this cocktail to taste like a less potent maraschino juice. Anyone else?

We're focusing on an unsung hero: Apricot Brandy. WIth the nice thickness of a shaken orange juice to the sweet apricot tastes all arounded out with a bit of sweet & sour mix really builds a delicous beverage. While it can be enjoyed all year, I can see this being a great cocktail for sitting by the pool, if you have a pool (or someone elses pool if they're not looking)
