Double Bull

The Double Bull is a Red Bull cocktail recipe using Bak's Bison Grass vodka. This recipe brings a slightly sweet, sour with an acidic bite to the design. Each flavor comes at you in waves and the Red Bull doesn't take over the drink which is great for those that aren't hardcore Red Bull fans.
However, if you're into Red Bull, here is yet another cocktail to try!

I am a big fan of Red Bull and can't wait to try to this cocktail. Only problem is I am having one heck of a time locating the Bison Grass Vodka. I think I'll try it with some of the store shelf traditionals on the meantime. Derek, you know what would be cool? An iPhone / iPod Touch Common Man Cocktail app with all your recipes. That would be awesome beyond all recognition.

I'd love to write an iPhone app, just not sure I have the time right now to build the code and maintain a master recipe list. Realistically, I'd also want good pictures and I've not bought the photo tend to get the good lighting on the pictures yet for that.

Yeah, i would love to see the bar tool episode you were talking about a few episodes back. Besides the shaker and the bar spoon, i really dont know what stuff does. Btw, there is a pretty cool iPhone app you can get while we are hoping for a Common Man app. Its called "Mixologist", and it has a pretty big list of different drinks. You can input what kind of spirits you have, and it pulls up different drinks you can do with that. It also has a little "help" section, where some basic stuff about drinks and equipment is explained. Its a very nice app, but i would loooove to see a Common Man app!

Bar tool information
I've been searching the net for "bar tools" and what is out there that I don't have. Thus far the big thing that's out there that I don't use are jiggers. The things I've got for information thus far are:
I may just go out and buy a 7-piece cocktail tool kit and use that as an example. The reserach I'm doing I'm trying to do as someone that needs some tools and they're going to buy something that shows up in google's page results, amazon or at a local store like Bed Bath and Beyond.

bison grass and red bull
I don't really like redbull, and I'm not much into bison grass vodka, but I just thought that I'm not doing cocktails for myself only :) so, perhaps one I'll do it for my wife or guests (and try it myself).
Anyway, it's nice to see polish product promoted and frequently used in your show :)

Yea I also prefer to stir, but most of the times that you dont need to stir the drink up is because it contains carbonated liquid. The Carbonation take some of the spirits and mix it up, but not all of it..
No matter what, I would still stir my drink.. ;)

Wauw thats a lot of alcohol. I would probably make this into a shooter instead of a drink ;)
Red Bull
The first time I ever tried Red Bull, I didn't like it, but I was mad that I paid $2.50 for the tiny can, I forced myself to drink the rest of it. By the end of the can, I decided I liked it. Now I prefer Monster Energy or Red Bull. Ooohh, a Monster Enegy cocktail would be neat!
Jägermonster cocktail
I think you should try that drink John. Jägermeister & Monster Energy Drink. Have it as a shot or as a large drink, it's good both ways. A Halloween favorite as well I might add!

This drink is gonna be a HUGE hit among my friends. Almost every single one of them love drinks with red bull, and the color on this was just amazing! I cant wait to try out this myself. It will be a 100% success rate at my house. Besides, Bison Grass is just awesome. Its like someone extracted awesomejuice from the awesome fruit and put a grass straw in it.

Someone has to do a video add for Awesome Juice, it's all the rage. you need to be angry and break things, that's how great awesome juice is! BREAK THINGS!

Red bull for me is slightly bitter with small hint of sweetness at the end.
