Heatwave Cocktail

It's not, it's damn hot. It's time to suffer the heatwave with the Heatwave cocktail! No Friday is complete without some pineapple juice with peach schnapps and rum. We're using a Cruzan aged rum to bring on the tropical flavors mingled in the rum.
While this cocktail dances on your palate, sit back and relax... let the weekend begin.

I'm going to try with with Orange Juice since I don't have pineapple juice so we'll see how that pans out.

It was delightful, I only had spiced rum so it was quite the combo. I think you should do an episode on rums.. or perhaps the varity of dark rums becuase I know so little about them.

Tonight we recorded the Añejo Tequila episode (didn't spit...a bit drunk right now) and a few others. My next challenge is covering white rums and then gold rums. Rum tasting is next on my list though! I sat down with the master rum distiller at Tommy Bahama and learned a crap load about rum tasting and rum creation. I'll share my information in this episode.
