Irish Coffee

Irish Coffee, is this how they drink it in Ireland? Probably not, but we're drinking it that way. This is our restaurant style (look) to the Irish coffee using some brown sugar and Michael Collins Irish Whiskey Blend.
You like whiskey and coffee? Hot coffee seems to really bring out the whiskey flavors in a striking way.

I always thought Dunkin
I always thought Dunkin Donuts was better then Starbucks.
Beginnings
I love the episodes with beginnings like this one. Full of energy, ready to start pouring when Jennifer steps inn making Derrick go "And what?! Why are you giving me the face?" :-P Got to love it =)
i live in florida. the dunkin
i live in florida. the dunkin donuts thing is just just for your area
Dunkin
Dunkin Donuts, I believe, ends around the Connecticut area or perhaps a bit further, they're expanding their domination but not too far outside of New England. Dunkin is light New Englands "Starbucks." One on every street corner of Boston, etc.
Â
Unfortunately, we also have a crap ton of starbucks too. They battle it out.
Dunkin' Donuts
There are Dunkin' Donuts in Tennessee. We actually had them before Starbucks got huge (and before we even got any Starbucks). Though now Starbucks outnumbers Dunkin's Donuts.
Â
Also, no Bailey's?
Dunkin'
You had Dunkin in Tennessee? Wow, they got pretty far down the list of US countries!
Â
No Bailey's in this coffee, this time, that's the way I usually see it. Wanted to be different :)
Dunkin Donuts
They have Dunkin Donuts here in Michigan too. They're all over, and people clamour over how much better their coffee is than any other type of coffee.

Personally, I put so much cream and sugar in my coffee that when I'm done with it, everything just has a generic "coffee" flavor.
Â
On a side note, when you say Irish Whiskey, I think of John Jameson and the commercial that they're playing on TV now. I swear every time it comes on, it makes me want to stand up and cheer.

For those who want to try
For those who want to try this with "regular" coffee: I've had it one some time ago, and it just tasted bad (in a way, that Irish Whiskey just ruined up coffee flavor for me), so keep that in mind :-) no idea how it tastes with other coffees.
Proud to be awesome.
lol
What exactly is "regular" coffee? This was normal everyday coffee, not flavored stuff.
Um, I don't know, the one we
Um, I don't know, the one we drink :-) Non filtered from fresh coffee beans or whatever :-)
Â
I am also not a fan of brandy + coffee, so it might be just me :-)
Proud to be awesome.
Coffee Drinks
Well, I've gotta say if I had to choose between regular coffee and a "spiked" coffee, I'd go regular. Mainly because I like my coffee as a relaxing way to get through the morning--it's really about the mood. I don't have an issue with coffee and alcohol, physically, but mentally I think I like it more "normal."
Â
On the weekends I grind the beans myself and filter it that way, but I know there are regions of the world that don't do that. I've got a friend from Indonesia, they just put the grounds in the bottom of the glass and drink it unfiltered. They also use condensed milk or whatnot for their sweetener, we don't do that (as a general way of drinking at least).
