Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

Visit AwesomeDrinks.com for glassware and more!

Another drink in which the name should represent the taste, but, unlike the Chocolate Cake shooter, this drink only hints at oatmeal goodness. While it might not be a true oatmeal cookie there is no denying its delicious flavors! This is one for the Irish Cream fans as Bailey's stands out as the most predominant ingredient.

Of course, I'm a huge buttershots fan, so the butterscotch schnapps is my favorite flavoring in the cocktail.

Oatmeal

This recipe is very different from the oatmeal cookie recipe I found, and is probably why it tastes nothing like an oatmeal cookie. Try this one and you will be very pleasantly surprised:

2 parts Buttershots Burst
2 parts Bailey's Irish Cream
1 part Cinnamon Schnapps (NOT orange liqueuer :)  )
2 parts Heavy Cream
Shake it up, pour it out, and enjoy!

You can leave out the heavy cream if you want, I just like to dull the burn down a bit on a drink I'm going to sip.

Let me know what you think of it!

Since my birthday is coming up this week..........

I would like you to do a birthday drink with Beer and Amearetto (sp) among other things. This will be fun for all and all for fun.

Except we record a week in advance

Bill, we're recording a week out, already done tapping and editing next weeks shows :) You gotta give me more notice!

butterscotch...

my favorite butterscotch usage is a simple shooter called white cotton panties for some reason... (?).  butterscotch schapps and vanilla vodka 1 to 1 ratio...yum.

(still looking for my dreamsicle recipe...no pressure...i'll be patient)

Dreamsicle/Creamsicle recipe

I've got it written down and planned, not sure if I have it setup for this week or next. It's on the list. I'm looking to get some vanilla ice cream to try out a recipe I found that may mimic it.

recipe

You can always pay in iTunes rating/reviews :) Oh, and by continuing to watch the shows :)

Gonna go make another one now :P

Butterscotch BURST

Dekuyper's website has a "Bursts" category in which you can find Butterscotch Burst. You may have to use the http://www.dekuyperusa.com/ version to see it, as they might not push that out of the country?

Awesome, will check.   P.S.

Awesome, will check.

P.S. Your RSS feed is broken, last 2 recipes doesn't show up on http://feeds.feedburner.com/eddVideo

RSS fixed

The RSS was busted because it's "too big" as there are too many shows for Feedburner to chew on it. I had to roll some older episodes off the feed to keep it a manageable size. The shows are always available through this site and the raw rss if needed.

Hmm... Doesn't RSS just catch

Hmm... Doesn't RSS just catch text + pics? I have over 600 articles and haven't run into this issue, not on Drupal though.

RSS

No, it's not drupal, it's feedburner pulling the feed from blip.tv. I believe the issue is because there are four video encousure tags for every video,  there are three video variations in each feed entry. It's not entry count as much as size of RSS "data" in XML.

Also, blogs RSS's typically cap out how many RSS feeds their showing in the feed reader to something managable, not infinate.

Damn technology

Man, wtf, it should be working fine. Damn you feedburner/google! I'll look into it.

Is this an adult size bottle of Baileys?

QQ: DE KUYPER - Butterscotch Caramel

Is this the one? As in De Kuyper web site I can't find any other expect "caramel".

The butterscotch schnapps

The butterscotch schnapps that is used is called "Buttershots Burst" and it is on http://www.dekuyperusa.com/ only as far as I can tell...

edit: haha I hadn't noticed Derrick already replied to this... probably because he didn't use the reply link. XD

Ah yes, I fail at replies

Somehow, sometimes I believe I hit "reply" but it doesn't seem to reply. I'm probably just an idiot. If I'm not, and it's broke, then I'd have to figure out a way to fix it... so I hope it's me :)
