Tequila Colada

The tequila colada, another heavy cream recipe with Partida Reposado Tequila, Kahlua with pineapple juice and cream of coconut. This is a nice little change up from the typical cocktail with many flavors all attacking your senses.

What type of tequila are you using?
The bitterness might be from the tequila if you're using something that, itself, has a bitter property. I find them hard to describe, it's like a salty brine bite in some tequila's...if that makes any sense.

Olmeca tequila. Not sure if it's low or mid end stuff, but since there were 2 brands only and this one was ~1 USD more expensive... I bought a "high end" one :)))

By the way, I feel same bitterness in originalk pina colada, so that could be just me :-)
This is so much better than
This is so much better than pina colada. It tastes like original pina colada, but with creamy oak flavor and doesn't have that sweetness. If that makes sense :-)

Few days ago I've decided to check some of them as well. Not a big drinker. So basically had 3 bottles in my bar: black label, grants black label and another grants (light one, don't remember exact the kind, but low end one).
