Zeli Cocktail

Visit AwesomeDrinks.com for glassware and more!

The Zeli is a recipe that our view Kris invented that utilizes whiskey, sprite zero and lime juice. The ZE in Zeli is for the Zero while the LI symbolizes the lime. He uses whiskey to add the core flavors for the cocktail. You'll find this cocktail is a refreshingly carbonated alternative to the whiskey sour and contains enough of its own ingredients to stand alone as its own cocktail.

Not as sour as a whiskey sour while not being overly sweet, this is a well balanced fun cocktail.

proper dillution

I made Zeli yesterday... my way ;)
used scotch instead of bourbon (don't have any whiskey atm) and standard sprite (we only have zero coke here, no zero sprite). Just as I've expected, to enjoy it I had to wait a bit for ice to melt inside my glass and tone down whisky flavours. Not a bad drink, even if it is pretty close to whiskey sour.

Zee Lie

I didn't think you'd ever get to doing this, haha. Quite glad to see you did.

"It's like a bouquet of awesome."
"It's right up in your grill piece."

Zeli

Zee Lie...did I pronounce it wrong? That would be par for the course if so! :)

Haha, yeah. Mispronunciation

Haha, yeah. Mispronunciation on your part but all is good my brother.

"It's like a bouquet of awesome."
"It's right up in your grill piece."

Fanta

Not sure how that stuff works in the States, but here in Europe theres tons of Fanta flavors, including lemon. It packs a lot more sourness than Sprite or Seven Up do, so if you wanna make it extra sour yet the keep sweetness I suggest that.

Fanta

Yeah, we've got a few flavors here but I don't know which they are as I don't really buy them. But, yeah, you could totally use that for something a bit difference.
